How to Manage Folders

Group employees so deployments reach the right people, company-wide pulses, engineering-only slices, or new-hire cohorts.

Overview

Folders are employee groups for survey targeting. Deployments don't email arbitrary lists, you pick folders, and WorkVerge derives respondents from who's inside. Get folders wrong and people miss the survey; get them right and Priya can run company-wide and team-specific campaigns from the same survey library.

Create and maintain folders

    Open DEX → Folders

    Browse existing groups or create a new folder for your next deployment.

    Click New Folder

    Name it something obvious, "All Employees", "Engineering", or "June 2026 New Hires".

    Add employees

    Search by name or email, or bulk-add from org records. Membership is snapshotted when a deployment launches.

    Keep folders current

    After HRIS sync or reorgs, review membership before quarterly sends. New hires won't get a survey if they're not in the folder.

    Deploy to the folder

    When you create a deployment, select this folder as the audience. WorkVerge creates one respondent per member.

Membership is fixed at launch

If someone joins a folder after a deployment starts, they won't automatically receive that campaign. Add them before launch, or start a new deployment.

Common folder patterns

  • All Employees. Quarterly engagement and all-hands pulses
  • Department folders. Engineering, GTM, Product for targeted follow-ups
  • New-hire cohorts. Week-1 onboarding pulses for everyone who started the same month
  • Manager rollup. Optional groups for Manager Dashboard scoping
