ITAM / Domains

Domains

Keep every company domain in one place, renewal dates, DNS health, SSL status, and expiry alerts, so nothing slips past Carlos before finance asks.

Real-world scenario

Maya Chen · IT Manager at Bluewave Labs

Bluewave Labs runs workverge.ai, app.workverge.ai, and a handful of marketing domains across Namecheap and Cloudflare. Maya wants one dashboard where Carlos can see what expires this quarter and whether email auth is configured correctly.

Before you begin

  • ITAM license enabled for your organization
  • Admin or asset manager role with access to Digital Assets

Overview

Domains live under ITAM → Digital Assets → Domains. Each record tracks registrar, renewal cost, auto-renew setting, and links to live Whois and SSL data. When you open a domain, WorkVerge pulls registration details and can run DNS, email-auth, and blacklist checks in one pass.

For example

WorkVerge tracks workverge.ai (Namecheap, auto-renew on), app.workverge.ai (Cloudflare DNS), and status.workverge.ai (Let's Encrypt SSL). Carlos checks the list every Monday for domains expiring within 60 days.

What you can do

Expiry at a glance

The Digital Assets hub shows summary cards for domains expiring in 30, 60, and 90 days. Use those counts before renewal season, not after a site goes down.

Getting started

If you are setting up Domains for Bluewave Labs (or your org), start here:

  1. Add your primary domain (e.g. workverge.ai) with registrar and purchase date
  2. Open the domain detail drawer and run a health check to baseline DNS and email auth
  3. Click Fetch SSL on the SSL Info tab so expiry tracking includes certificates
  4. Confirm notifications are enabled so you get alerts before renewal dates
