SSL Certificates

See every cert's issuer and expiry in one list, so Carlos catches app.workverge.ai before launch, not after browsers show a warning.

Real-world scenario

Carlos Reyes · IT Admin at Bluewave Labs

app.workverge.ai launches in two weeks but the Let's Encrypt cert on staging expires in nine days. Carlos tracks all certs in WorkVerge, filters expiring within 30 days, and renews before QA signs off.

Before you begin

  • ITAM license enabled for your organization
  • Admin or asset manager role with access to Digital Assets

Overview

SSL certificates live under ITAM → Digital Assets → SSL. WorkVerge can auto-fetch certificate data, issuer, issued-on, expires-on, from a domain when you use Fetch SSL on a domain record or add via API. The SSL list gives Carlos a single expiry view across app.workverge.ai, api.workverge.ai, and marketing sites.

For example

WorkVerge tracks certs for workverge.ai (DigiCert, auto-renew on), app.workverge.ai (Let's Encrypt, expires 2026-06-17), and status.workverge.ai (Cloudflare origin). Carlos filters "expiring in 30 days" every Monday.

What you can do

Launch deadline

Before any go-live, filter SSL expiring within 60 days and confirm app.workverge.ai (and aliases) have valid dates, not just staging.

Getting started

  1. Add domains in ITAM Domains if not already tracked
  2. Open each production domain and click Fetch SSL on the SSL Info tab, or add via API for automation
  3. Review the SSL list with expiry filter 90 days to baseline risk
  4. Turn on expiry notifications so Carlos is not the only human watching dates
