SSL Bulk Actions

Enable auto-renew flags on a batch of production certs or archive retired hostnames, without editing each row.

Real-world scenario

Carlos Reyes · IT Admin at Bluewave Labs

After migrating marketing sites to Cloudflare, Carlos filters issuer Let's Encrypt + auto-renew Disabled, selects all twelve production certs, and bulk-enables auto-renew tracking before launch week.

Before you begin

  • ITAM license enabled
  • Admin or asset manager role with bulk permissions

Overview

SSL bulk actions work like server bulk actions: select rows (or all filtered matches), pick an action, confirm. Carlos uses them after inventory clean-up, archiving old staging certs or aligning auto-renew flags before Maya's expiry review.

How bulk actions work

  1. 1

    Select SSL rows with checkboxes

Pick individual certs or use the header checkbox for the current page.

  2. 2

    Select all matching filters (optional)

With filters applied, e.g. all Let's Encrypt certs expiring in 30 days, bulk actions apply to every match, not just visible rows.

  3. 3

Open Bulk Actions from the toolbar

Choose Update Status, Update Auto-Renew, or Delete.

  4. 4

    Confirm in the modal

Review the action and count before saving.

Available actions

  • Update status. Set Active, Inactive, or Archived on all selected certs
  • Update auto-renew. Enable or disable auto-renew tracking in batch
  • Delete. Soft-delete (archive) selected certificates

Auto-renew is tracking, not renewal

Bulk-enabling auto-renew in WorkVerge does not renew certs on the server, it flags them in your CMDB. You still renew with Let's Encrypt, DigiCert, or Cloudflare; then re-fetch to update dates.

Example

Pre-launch auto-renew sweep

Carlos filters Status = Active, Auto-renew = Disabled, selects all (23 certs), bulk-sets auto-renew Enabled. He exports the list for the launch ticket and manually renews app.workverge.ai first because it expires in nine days.

For domain-level fetch in batch, see Domain Bulk Actions.
