Domain Detail View

Everything about one domain in a single drawer, registration, certificate, DNS health, and live Whois data.

Real-world scenario

Carlos Reyes · IT Admin at Bluewave Labs

After a phishing drill, Maya wants proof that workverge.ai has DMARC and valid SSL. Carlos opens the domain detail view and screenshots the Health Check and SSL tabs.

Before you begin

  • Domain exists in WorkVerge
  • Permission to view digital assets

Overview

Click any row in the domains list to open the detail drawer. WorkVerge loads the saved record, fetches current Whois data, and shows linked SSL certificates. Use the tabs to move between inventory fields and live checks without leaving the page.

The four tabs

Domain Info

Shows domain name, registrar, DNS provider, auto-renew, price (converted to org currency), and status. This is the source of truth for what your team entered; Whois may differ if registration changed outside WorkVerge.

SSL Info

If no certificate is linked, click Fetch SSL. WorkVerge retrieves the live certificate and displays issuer (e.g. Let's Encrypt), expiry, days remaining, and validation type. See SSL Info for bulk fetch and alerts.

Health Check

Displays DNS records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SSL validity, RBL blacklist status, and Safe Browsing. Run or re-run checks to refresh the 0–100 health score. See Domain Health for scoring details.

Whois Info

Registration data from public Whois: creation date, expiry, nameservers, and registrar. See Whois Info for how refresh works.

Recommended workflow

  1. 1

Click a domain in the list

The detail drawer opens on the right with four tabs: Domain Info, SSL Info, Health Check, and Whois Info.

  2. 2

    Review Domain Info

Confirm registrar, DNS provider, auto-renew, price in org currency, and status match what you expect.

  3. 3

    Fetch or review SSL

On SSL Info, click Fetch SSL if no certificate is linked yet. You will see issuer, expiry, and validation type.

  4. 4

    Run a health check

On Health Check, click Run Health Check or Re-check Now for DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and blacklist results.

  5. 5

    Check Whois expiry

Whois Info shows registration and expiry dates, nameservers, and registrar, refreshed when you open the domain.

New domain checklist

After adding a domain, open detail → Fetch SSL → Run Health Check. That gives you expiry alerts and a baseline score before Maya asks how email auth looks.
