Employee Portal

Apps

See which software and SaaS tools are provisioned to you. Sophie checks Apps before requesting duplicate Figma or Slack access.

Real-world scenario

Sophie Park · Software Engineer at Bluewave Labs

Sophie joins a new project and wonders if she already has Notion access. She opens Apps, sees Notion listed under active subscriptions, and skips an unnecessary IT request.

Before you begin

  • Employee portal access
  • IT admins have linked vendor subscriptions to employees or teams in ITAM

Overview

The Apps page shows software and SaaS subscriptions linked to you through ITAM vendor management. You get a read-only view of provisioned tools, no invoice data, no admin controls, just clarity on what you already have access to.

What employees see

  • Application name and vendor. e.g. Figma (Figma Inc.)
  • Subscription or license status. Active, trial, or pending where exposed
  • Request access link. Shortcut to the ITSM catalog for tools you do not have

Sophie's active apps at Bluewave Labs

  • Slack. Business+ · Active
  • Figma. Editor · Active
  • Notion. Team · Active
  • GitHub Enterprise. Seat · Active
  • Linear. Not provisioned. Request via Services

Team-based provisioning

You may see apps linked to your team even if you never filed a personal request. Platform Engineering inherits Datadog and PagerDuty through team subscriptions.

Admin management

IT admins manage vendors and subscriptions in Vendor Management, including Employee Portal visibility settings. If an app is missing or wrong, contact IT, employees cannot edit subscription links from the portal.
