WorkVie AI
AI Settings
Organization admins turn WorkVie AI on, set feature access, and align usage limits, so Alex and the IT team can run blast-radius and CMDB analysis on licensed surfaces.
Real-world scenario
Alex Kim · VP of IT at Bluewave Labs
Bluewave Labs just added WorkVie AI to their contract. Alex works with Maya to enable it in org config before Carlos uses blast radius ahead of the prod-api-01 maintenance window.
Before you begin
- Org admin access to My Organization → Configurations
- WorkVie AI included in your license
Overview
AI settings live under My Organization, not inside individual product modules. Enabling WorkVie AI unlocks the header agent, docked assistant, CMDB advisory, and related intelligence features across ITAM, ITSM, and DEX for licensed users.
Configure AI
- 1
Open My Organization → Configurations
Go to the org config page and select the AI tab. You need admin access to change these settings.
- 2
Enable WorkVie AI for your organization
Toggle AI on if your license includes it. Users will see the header button and docked assistant on licensed admin surfaces.
- 3
Review model and feature preferences
Configure available capabilities, chat, CMDB advisory, sentiment, and related features, according to your org policy.
- 4
Set usage limits if exposed
Some deployments allow caps on tokens or per-user limits. Align these with what Alex and your leadership team expect for monthly spend.
- 5
Save and verify in the UI
Open the agent workspace or dock from ITAM and send a test prompt. Confirm Carlos and other admins see the same availability.
