Overview

Configurations is the control room for org-wide settings. Tabs cover general preferences, branding, users and roles, security, notifications, import/export, API keys, agent tokens, AI, leave policies, and demo data. Changes here propagate to ITAM, ITSM, DEX, and the Employee Portal.

Configuration areas

  • General. Org name, locale, timezone
  • Branding. Logo, colors, Employee Portal theming
  • Users & Roles. RBAC permissions and MFA policies
  • Security. Session management and revocation
  • Notifications. Org-wide delivery preferences
  • Import/Export. Unified CSV import for assets and employees
  • API Keys. Programmatic access tokens for integrations
  • Agent Tokens. Desktop agent enrollment for device fleet
  • AI. WorkVie AI settings
  • Leave. Leave types, balances, and approval policies

Common setup flow

    Open My Organization → Configurations

    All org-wide settings live in one tabbed screen, no hunting across products.

    Set general preferences

    Confirm org name, locale, and timezone so reports and notifications use the right context.

  3. 3

    Apply branding

    Upload your logo and theme colors. Employee Portal and login screens pick these up automatically.

    Review users, roles, and security

    Configure RBAC permissions, MFA policies, and active sessions. Revoke stale sessions after role changes.

    Configure leave and AI

    Set leave policies employees see in the portal. Enable WorkVie AI features under the AI tab.

Revoke sessions after role changes

When you downgrade or offboard an admin, revoke their active sessions from the Security tab. RBAC updates apply on next login, but an existing session may still have elevated access until revoked.

Integrations

Third-party connections. Slack, HRIS sync, monitoring webhooks, are configured separately under Integrations. Org config handles identity, branding, and platform behavior; integrations handle data flowing in and out.
